What EssayAtlas provides
EssayAtlas publishes educational writing guides, interactive study tools and format references for college students. Everything on the site is free to use for learning, planning and improving your own work. Nothing here is academic advice specific to your institution, and nothing here substitutes for your instructor's requirements, your syllabus, or the official style manuals.
Academic integrity
The site teaches you to plan, structure, cite and revise your own writing. It is not a writing service, does not produce text for submission, and will not respond to requests to write papers. How you use the guidance is governed by your institution's academic-integrity policy — which always takes precedence over anything on this site.
Accuracy and estimates
Format requirements are sourced from official style manuals and university pages, verified at the last-updated date shown on each page. Statistical figures (enrollments, tuition, degree counts) are approximate and drawn from public sources. Universities change requirements; the authoritative version is always the one your institution publishes. We are not affiliated with any university, and institutional names appear for identification only.
Tool outputs
Interactive tools (calculators, generators, counters) run in your browser and produce planning estimates. They are mathematically correct for the inputs you provide, but the inputs — syllabus weights, grade predictions, source metadata — are yours to verify. Tool outputs are not official records.
Advertising, affiliates and liability
The site is ad-supported and may use clearly-labeled affiliate links; commercial placements never influence editorial content. The site is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EssayAtlas is not liable for academic, financial or other outcomes resulting from use of the site.
Intellectual property
Original text, tools and design on this site belong to EssayAtlas. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. University names, trademarks and style-manual titles belong to their respective owners; no endorsement is implied. Style manuals (APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE, AMA) are proprietary publications — we summarize their public rules and link to the official sources for authoritative detail.
