Privacy policy

The short version

We do not require accounts, we do not ask for your name, and every interactive tool on this site processes your input entirely inside your browser. Your drafts, GPA numbers and citations are never transmitted to our servers — closing the tab erases them. What remains is standard, anonymized web analytics and (if configured) advertising cookies, described below.

Information we do not collect

• Tool inputs. Text pasted into the word counter, readability checker, synonym finder, citation fields, GPA and grade inputs never leaves your device. There is no server endpoint to receive it.
• Accounts. The site has no login, so there are no account records to breach.
• Student work. We never request submissions, drafts or personal academic records.

Information that is collected (standard web stuff)

If Google Analytics is enabled on this deployment, we collect anonymized usage data: pages visited, approximate region, device type, referral source. IP addresses are anonymized at collection. This data measures aggregate site performance and never identifies you. Where advertising partners operate (see below), their cookies may track ad interaction across sites according to their own policies.

Advertising and affiliates

Ad slots on this site, when enabled, are served by Google AdSense or a comparable network. Those networks may use cookies to personalize or measure ads; you can opt out of personalized Google advertising via Google Ads Settings. Affiliate links are marked with an FTC-compliant disclosure at the placement, use the rel="sponsored" attribute, and never influence editorial content per our editorial policy.

Children and students

The site is intended for college students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided personal data through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can browse the entire site — every guide and every tool — with cookies blocked; the tools keep working because they are browser-local JavaScript. To request deletion of any analytics-associated data (we hold none in identifiable form), email the contact address on our contact page.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date above and, for significant changes, announced on the homepage for 30 days. Questions about any of this go to [email protected] — a human reads them.
