Our mission
Most writing help online splits into two camps: university pages with perfect information buried in PDFs, and content farms optimized for ads. EssayAtlas takes the third path — writing-center accuracy, built as interactive software. Every guide is structured, every claim checkable, every tool functional without an account.
- Teach the skill, never write the paper — full stop.
- Every format claim traces to an official university or style-manual source.
- Interactive first: if a checklist can be clickable, it should be.
- Free means free: no trials, no gated PDFs, no email-for-access.
How we source
Format requirements come from official university writing-center guides, registrar pages and the current edition of each style manual (APA 7, MLA 9, Chicago 18, IEEE). Statistical figures — enrollments, tuition, degree counts — are approximate, drawn from public IPEDS and institutional factbooks, and always labeled as estimates. Where a source could be outdated, we say so on the page and tell you which office holds the authoritative answer.
University names and trademarks belong to their institutions. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university — coverage is informational and identification-only.
